Morimatsu (Suzhou) LifeSciences, a subsidiary of Morimatsu International Holding, held an opening ceremony in Changshu Economic Development Zone, Suzhou, China.
The official opening of the new production base marks a milestone for modular engineering expert Morimatsu in its industrial layout.
After the ceremony, the guests visited Morimatsu's showroom and manufacturing workshop.
The new production base
The new production base is the first phase project of Morimatsu (Suzhou) LifeSciences, which covers an area of about 130,000 sqm.
The new modern factory integrates automation, intelligence, and sustainability.
Further, the new factory is dedicated to providing core equipment, process systems, and digital-intelligent total factory solutions and services.
The new factory also aims to expand capacity to the global pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, cosmetic, medical and beauty, daily chemical, and FMCG industries.

It also vividly reflects how Morimatsu strengthens its global strategic layout, continuously delivers its full-life-cycle products and services, and builds the Morimatsu brand with international influence and competitiveness.
Tang Weihua, Executive Director and Senior VP of Morimatsu Group and Morimatsu International Holding and General Manager of Morimatsu (Suzhou) LifeSciences, said at the ceremony“ Morimatsu Suzhou Changshu Plant started construction in July 2022 and after a year and a half, it was successfully put into production with all parties' hard work and support.
“This new modernised factory, which integrates high automation, intelligence and sustainability, has realised the function of off-site collaboration with Shanghai, Wuhan and Nantong,” Weihua continued.
“In this period when the country is accelerating the development of new quality productive forces, Morimatsu is focusing on the resource-rich Yangtze River Delta region, actively exerting the power of scientific and technological innovation, facilitating the digital transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry, and continuously shaping the new driving force and new advantages of development to promote the social productivity to achieve a new leap forward,” Weihua concluded.

Mr. Qin Meng, Mayor of Changshu, said at the ceremony, “The biomedical industry is a sunrise and green industry with the most potential at the moment, and it is also the "No.1 industry" that the government of Suzhou is paying much attention to.”
