LGInternational showcases colour changing product

A US-based manufacturer of advanced labelling solutions has launched a new range that change colour when exposed to specific sterilisation procedures.


LGInternational’s latest indicating label line features specialty inks and can withstand moisture, chemical exposure and extreme temperatures smearing, cracking or fading of label information. Maintaining adhesion throughout the sterilisation process is unaffected, says the clean room label manufacturer.

The labels can be used to can be used during gamma radiation sterilisation and ethylene oxide (EtO) gas sterilisation and steam autoclaving.

Labels can be customised to meet specific requirements for a wide variety of applications including pre and post sterilization, sample track and trace throughout the sterilization process and can be supplied sterile. LGI’s standard autoclave labels for proof of sterilisation can be ordered online in rolls of 500 labels with either permanent or removable adhesive.
