Isolator plates foiled by BioMérieux

Isolator sterilising gases, such as VHP and peracetic acid, have been shown to affect the fertility of microbiological media, says BioMérieux.

To counter this, its range of isolator media (90mm TSA plates and 55mm contact plates containing neutralisers) is now available with improved foil packaging. Irradiated and triple wrapped, BioMérieux says they can be introduced into the isolator without compromising sterility while the new foil middle wrap ensures protection from the sterilising gases.
