Ionics introduces site monitoring

Ionics Instruments has introduced the Sievers 900 Turbo TOC monitor for semiconductor sites that implement a pure water reject and reclaim policy during semiconductor fabrication. Compact and user-friendly, the 900 Turbo requires no external reagents or gas supplies, and only two hours of preventative maintenance per annum. It can also provide continuous, online measurements every four seconds for reclaim waters below 20ppb. Users can toggle their TOC measurement range from 0.03ppb to 50,000ppb, with readings every four minutes as standard. Operation is performed through a touch-screen display, with step-by-step prompts enabling real-time operating parameters and the viewing of historical trends. Its autoreagent feature reduces time spent on optimisation; automatically calculating and applying optimal flow rates for each sample. Furthermore, Sievers reagent packs, installed in a matter of minutes, give three to six months uninterrupted service. Enquiry card number: 123
