Interscience EasySpiral for easy bacterial plating

Interscience’s EasySpiral automatic bacterial plater provides standardised plating with sensitivity from 30 to 10 million CFU/ml on only one Petri dish without preliminary dilutions for higher lab capacities.

The device has a rotating arm with high-speed movements and simplified mechanics, a patented disinfection system avoiding cross-contamination risks, and offers full traceability of operations.

The EasySpiral can handle USB programmable plating volumes from 10–1,000 microlitres. Disinfection, sample-taking and plating take 25sec.

Interscience, a French designer and manufacturer of lab equipment and consumables, claims the EasySpiral reduces costs in time, consumables, space and steps by 75% compared with the manual method.
