InduKey launches sealed industrial keyboard

InduKey UK has launched InduProof3, a completely sealed industrial keyboard for all industries where hygiene and deep cleaning are a must.

The InduProof3 keyboard has the same features as the InduProof2 but now comes with high quality “hall sensor” mouse button and backlight option.

The InduProof3 keyboard is completely waterproof and dustproof. It is encased in a silicone cover, which is ideal for food processing applications that require a high degree of chemical resistance for equipment disinfection. The base consists of a sealed metal plate, which protects against the use of harsh cleaning fluids and disinfectants and the keyboard is rated NEMA6P and IP68 for full immersion in disinfectants or other liquids.

Ideal for use in factories and laboratories as well as in medical and food environments requiring stringent hygiene standards, the InduProof3 keyboard uses mechanical key switches for good tactile feedback and durability and can be easily operated with a gloved hand. The high quality of input acknowledgement helps prevent typing errors and assists accurate data entry.

The keyboard is available in two different interfaces: two PS/2 interfaces (keyboard and mouse-button) or a USB interface.
