HVAC unit is out of this world
AWE (Air, Water, Energy) Engineering, a subsidiary of Environmental Technologies International, is ready to test its prototype retrofit HVAC unit featuring "innovative cost-saving technology" originally developed by NASA.
The modification of NASA's Thermosyphon Heat Transfer Loop, used to transfer instantaneously extreme heat and cold from one part of a space shuttle to another, became possible after the NASA patents expired. The company will be using buildings in the Tampa area as a test site to gain independent endorsement for the new equipment.
