High-performance allergy-free gloves

Ansell has introduced DermaShield poly-chloroprene gloves made from an "exclusive blend of poly-chloroprenes to provide flexibility and softness comparable with those of latex".

The company says the hand-specific sterile gloves are unique, as unlike most synthetic – and latex – products, DermaShield gloves contain no vulcanisation accelerators known to cause Type IV allergies. They are also latex-free, to prevent Type I allergies, and powder-free. An exclusive surface treatment and constant monitoring of grip values is said to enable the gloves to deliver "outstanding handling and grip for all types of precision work in both wet and dry conditions".
