UK manufacturer of wireless environmental monitoring equipment, Hanwell Solutions, has restructured its worldwide distributor network and appointed a new European Distribution Manager to spearhead a drive into new markets.
The reorganisation of its global network into three geographical areas and investment in additional resources to help manage and support the company’s European operations, reflects a growing demand for its environmental monitoring offering across multiple market sectors.
Key staff changes see Patrick Hoevenaars join Hanwell as the new European Distribution Manager, enabling International Sales Director Derek Richardson to focus on the US and the rest of the world supported by VP of Business Development, Meredith Paetz. In the meantime, Commercial Manager Marcus Stacey-Bradbury will become the point of contact for the UK distribution network.
Based in the Netherlands, Patrick Hoevenaars is not new to Hanwell’s products as he was a Dutch distributor for the firm for almost 20 years before accepting a job offer from a US company specialising in contamination monitoring systems. However, when the call came to manage Hanwell’s European Distributors, he had no hesitation in accepting.
Hoevenaars said: “I always had a good relationship with Hanwell so I’m really excited and looking forward to working with our partners and our colleagues in the UK. Our monitoring solutions have many benefits for our customers.
“When you have a brand of such good quality you want dedicated partners who are proud to represent Hanwell,” Hoevenaars added. “Being able to see things from both sides, I know what a distributor needs from a distribution manager to support them in the field and I will be there to help our partners in Europe on a day to day basis, helping to move forward and develop new channels and relationships.”
Hanwell’s CEO, Ian Robinson, said: “We are very pleased to announce Patrick’s appointment to co-ordinate and develop our well-established European distribution network. Patrick brings a wealth of product and industry knowledge with him which will be invaluable to distributors and customers alike. The Board’s decision to invest in additional resources and expertise to support our global distributor network, a critical area of Hanwell’s operations, provides a great opportunity for Hanwell to further strengthen our position in key industry sectors.”
Also fitting well into their new roles, Derek Richardson has been with Hanwell for over 30 years and has been a key driver in the development of its current distribution network, while Marcus Stacey-Bradbury joined the company five years ago, starting as a Business Development Manager before working his way up.
Hanwell, which recently announced its acquisition by Denmark based Ellab, a company specialising in thermal validation solutions for the pharmaceutical, medical and food processing industries, is renowned for offering consistent, accurate and reliable wireless environmental monitoring products for a wide range of sectors including healthcare, pharma, food and heritage.
Hanwell will continue to operate as a standalone entity, retaining the name and brand which are synonymous with its British engineering and cutting-edge wireless technology, resulting in highly robust monitoring solutions.
