Pharmaceutical solutions company Haden Freeman, of Manchester in the UK, has acquired Huddersfield-based Pharmaspace, a specialist in the design and construction of clean space for use in the pharmaceutical industry, for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition will enable Haden Freeman to increase the services it offers with pre-packaged facilities for common applications such as QA sampling, powder dispensing and milling suites. "Pharmaspace is perfectly placed in the industry to both complement and develop our services," said Nigel Hirst, managing director, Haden Freeman. "We can now offer our clients both bespoke and modular solutions to their pharmaceutical and engineering needs."
