Graham Hind is to head Howorth Air Technology Inc, based in Louisville, Kentucky, US as chief executive.
Using his 16 years’ experience of working with Howorth in sales and engineering in senior management roles, Hind’s initial focus will be on supporting the company’s existing efforts in the region, but he will also develop and promote new business opportunities throughout North America, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico.
Adrian Parkin, managing director of Howorth Air Technology, says: “Graham’s relocation will be a major boost to our business opportunities in North America. His record with Howorth speaks for itself, and I know the dedication and commitment he has always shown to the company will continue to flourish as he takes Howorth across the Atlantic.”
Installation, commissioning, service and maintenance will be undertaken by Howorth’s existing US team, with all project work to be carried out at the company’s headquarters in Bolton, UK.
“This move is a sign of Howorth’s continued commitment to serve and support the US market, and I look forward to being personally at the forefront of this exciting phase of Howorth’s expansion plans within the US,” said Hind.
