Geppert-Band introduces new conveyor

Published: 6-Mar-2005

Complying in full with standards required in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, Geppert-Band's new GES-25 stainless-steel belt conveyor, which can be made to measure within four days, can be used in the most restricted operating areas, meets the highest demands of hygiene and is said to be ideally suited to transport small parts.

Available in various sizes – from belt widths of 50mm to 200 mm, lengths of only 500mm and belt centre lengths of 6000mm – the GES-25 can be easily integrated into existing production processes. Its frame height of 25 mm, combined with an extremely small deflecting roller (30 mm in diameter), mean that it is optimised for small and delicate items. Patented adjusters on both drive and deflecting roller prevent the accumulation of dirt, with all moving parts and open threads being located within the units. This not only allows for easier cleaning of the system, but also makes it more hardwearing. Geppert-Band also places a high priority on customer service, so that in the instance of failure, spare parts will be supplied free of charge for a period of two years without the customer having to prove that the unit was already defective on delivery. This exceeds the requirements of the EU warranty decree that has been in force since 2002. The Geppert-Band range of conveyors also includes larger, horizontal conveyors available in belt widths between 50 and 1,000 mm, lengths ranging from 500 to 12,000mm and total belt loads of up to 100kg.
