Process engineering company BPE has confirmed the appointment of Mark Rowland as Business Development Manager.
In his new role, Rowland will be responsible for managing new and existing relationships with businesses in the life sciences, speciality chemicals and biotech sectors. Operating throughout the UK and Ireland, he will be based at BPE’s office in Colden Common, near Winchester.
“I’m thrilled to join the BPE team,” Rowland said. “It has a strong reputation within the industry, particularly for its process design expertise and process safety knowledge, and I am looking forward to bringing my experience to the team.”
Rowland’s background in business development spans 30 years. During this time, he has promoted a full range of process engineering services from consultancy through process systems design, including process safety and regulatory compliance support.
Most recently, Rowland was Business Development Manager for Exyte, the German-based international multi-disciplined design and construction company.
Rowland has also held various previous roles in the fields of petrochemical, food, drink, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and speciality chemicals.
