In a further development in the fight against hospital acquired infections such as MRSA, Crabtree is now able to supply its electrical lighting and power accessories with Biocote advanced surface hygiene protection. BioCote's antimicrobial surface treatment is incorporated into the moulding material and will permanently inhibit the surface growth of harmful organisms, including E-coli, Listeria Legionella, Salmonella and MRSA. The available products include switched and unswitched 13 amp socket outlets, complemented by plate switches for lighting control, and include the Rockergrid modular range of moulded rocker switches and face plates. All will be supplied in a "clinical white" finish to identify them from similar products in the range.
