Flexible partitions reach the market

Troax UK has launched a versatile cleanroom partitioning system, designed to meet the air cleanliness requirements of a wide range of markets, including: electronics and semiconductor; pharmaceutical; healthcare; aerospace; optics; biotechnology; precision engineering; food and drink; and sterile packaging.

The new system, named Toledo, is a medium specification system, and when used in conjunction with the correct air handling equipment and Hepa filter systems is ideal for working towards an ISO 14644-1 class 6 cleanroom environment. It meets all existing European and international standards, and can provide extra sealing and flush surfaces. Said to be quick and easy to install, and fully demountable for maximum flexibility, the modular, double-skin system of steel monobloc construction uses an inert and non-particle shedding finish. The two line junction has a flush line cover channel and flush line double glazing system, resulting in minimal ledges and corners. It can be finished with antibacterial or static dissipative coating, coved profiles and skirting, while a variety of accessories are also available.
