A new packaging design perfected by filtration specialists Schleicher & Schuell UK for their range of single sterile membranes eliminates the need for interleaving paper and claims to ensure fast and easy removal of individual membranes so operator speed is therefore increased. The absence of interleaving paper reduces the risk of cross-contamination and because there is less waste they are more environmentally friendly. Over 100 grades of paper are manufactured and are used in the pharmaceutical, brewing, environmental and food industries.
