Arxada, a global leader in antimicrobial solutions, has announced that the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registration of Quanticare (trademarked), a hard surface disinfection formulation.
EPA registration signifies that the product and its claims have been reviewed and approved by EPA.
This versatile product will allow facilities to reduce disinfection complexity and increase efficiency by replacing several different products with Quanticare.
“This milestone marks a significant advancement in the field of hard surface disinfection, addressing critical challenges faced by healthcare facilities, dental practices, and in general building disinfection and life science applications," said Lisa Dreilinger, Global Head of Regulatory at Arxada.
Dreilinger explained that the newly registered sporicidal disinfectant is registered as both a wipe and a ready-to-use (RTU) liquid.
"Quanticare will provide one-step cleaning and disinfecting for outbreaks, and everyday terminal and daily cleaning,” Dreilinger added.
