Ensuring high filtration standards

Schleicher and Schell has developed a quick, sterile and safe filtration system suited for bioburden tests on raw materials, preparations and no-sterile end products that are carried out by the membrane filtration method. The MBS II filtration unit can be used for drinking water investigations and checks on water for injection purposes. The filtration funnel and membrane are combined to form a sterile filtration unit. When the filtration step is completed, the membrane is transferred to an agar petri dish with a simple double-click. Other advantages include variable arrangement of the vacuum filtration unit, a high filtration speed, constantly high recovery rates and easy cleaning.
