EMCEL Filters' in-line safe-change units

Published: 11-Apr-2005

Specifically aimed at the pharmaceutical/chemical sectors, EMCEL Filters' in-line safe-change units are machined from solid stainless steel. As there is no welding required, the problems of grinding internal and external welds to be flush and crevice free are eliminated in the critical areas of the casework. The only possible welds required are on exterior flanges and inlet/outlet spigots. This 'machined from solid' option is also highly suitable for units that are required to operate at high pressure. Non Safe-Change versions of these units are also available. All machining and fabrication of caseworks is carried out in-house by an associate precision engineering company operating at the same location. The HEPA elements for these units are also manufactured and tested in-house at EMCEL Filters' plant in Horsham. Other casework materials, such as plastics, can also be machined from solid if required. Enquiry card number: 131
