HEPA-filtered operation without an extraction system
A special integrated HEPA filter removes 99.95% of airborne particles and enables the refrigerators to operate inside the cleanroom. Unlike conventional solutions, the KIRSCH units do not require a separate extraction system.
This makes freestanding installation possible and can significantly reduce project costs. There is no need to enclose the refrigerator within the cleanroom wall or install additional extraction infrastructure. At the same time, the freestanding concept provides greater flexibility when planning or modifying the cleanroom layout.
Designed for controlled environments
Smooth, easy-to-clean surfaces and tested resistance to disinfectants help simplify routine cleaning procedures and reduce the risk of cross-contamination. The stainless-steel housing is designed to meet the strict hygiene requirements of controlled cleanroom environments.
The PRO-ACTIVE control system continuously monitors operating data and provides early warning of potential deviations. Combined with KIRSCH’s controlled air-guidance concept and two precision temperature sensors, it supports stable and uniform storage conditions throughout the refrigerator.
Additional safety features include a lockable door, visual and audible alarms, minimum and maximum temperature memory, and a potential-free contact for connection to remote alarm systems. Temperature data can also be exported via the integrated USB interface.
The cleanroom refrigerators comply with DIN 13277 and are available in a range of sizes and storage capacities.
Their temperature can be set within an approximate range of 0°C to 15°C, making them suitable for a wide variety of temperature-sensitive products.
