CILS labels clear autoclave jam

A costly problem experienced by autoclave users is the fusing together of pre-labelled vials during mass batch processing. This results in label damage, the loss of important data and the vials becoming unusable.

The technical team at UK-based Computer Imprintable Label Systems (CILS) has identified the source of the problem and has developed a new material/adhesive combination to withstand the sterilisation process and remain unaffected by environmental conditions experienced in bulk cleaning and subsequent filling. CILS8100AC is said to "perform perfectly" in wash/fill systems without jamming. A computer imprintable coating ensures sharp print quality with no loss of data.
