Catalent has used Gerflor's Mipolam Biocontrol Clean flooring in its European Centre of Excellence.
The facility in Limoges, France, focuses on clinical biological formulation, development and filling of pharmaceutical products into vials, syringes, and cartridges
The US-based global CDMO for pharma and biotech chose Gerflor to equip its pharmaceutical hardworking production areas. More than 1500 sqm of Gerflor's Mipolam Biocontrol Clean flooring was installed to meet Catalent's requirements.
The CCS system was ideal for managing on-site contamination
"Our solution is certified to ISO Class 3 standards and is compliant with GMP Grade A for use in cleanrooms, for heavy traffic resistance, and particulate and molecular contamination control," Gerflor said.
Mipolam Biocontrol Clean is also compliant with Gerflor's unique and patented Gerflor Clean Corner System solution, a covering system for both internal and external corners, this ensures perfect watertightness and easy cleaning."
