Burlington raises the barriers
Burlington Barrier Products, a division of US-based Burlington Industries, focused on its C Class range, a collection of high-performing, reusable contamination control fabrics engineered for cleanroom manufacturing environments.
All C Class fabrics are created from polyester filament yarns and offer a high degree of surface resistivity and static decay performance. One of the latest developments, Nano-Seal, is said to offer better durability and reduced linting. It uses Burlington's nanotechnology to alter the molecular structure of the fibre to increase durability. The technology has been five years in development, and products for use in cleanrooms have only been launched in the past six months.
