A range of high-performance spray balls is now available for the first time in the UK from Bete.

The devices offer a cost-effective and efficient solution for Clean In Place (CIP) applications and are suited to a wide variety of sectors, including the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotech, cosmetic, food, beverage, brewing, distilling and dairy industries. Designed to meet the strictest hygiene standards, the spray balls are constructed in 316 stainless steel and contain no moving parts. Delivering a constant and consistent rinsing action, the range features precision-drilled spray holes from 1.3 to 2.5mm in diameter in a number of configurations for upward, downward or 360° spray coverage. The device is resistant to a wide range of chemicals and cleaning fluids, either hot or cold, and operable at temperatures up to 430°C. Widths range from 28-120mm; clip-on inlet connections are available from 22-60.3mm and threaded connections in standard imperial sizes of 0.25-1.25 inches. With flow rates from 1.2-29.8m3/h and an operating pressure range of 1-3 bar, the spray balls weigh between 20 and 540g, can be installed at any angle and deliver a throw radius of 1 to 6.4 metres at a pressure of 1 bar.
