Axium provides further filter answers and options

The Pure-Screen wedge wire stainless steel filter range from Axium Process can be fabricated to customer specification and includes duplex, multiplex and jacketed filter options.

The filters, robust in design and manufactured in 316L stainless steel, are suitable for temperature sensitive applications such as chocolate production; critical applications where filter failure or collapse is not an option; and applications where product smoothness and consistency are essential. With no moving parts and no tools required for access or cleaning, the filters are easy to maintain. Interruption to production can be reduced with the introduction of a Pure-Screen duplex filter, which is also available as a stand-alone design complete with a support framework. Available in a 4-inch body design as standard, the Pure-Screen range employs no O-rings and has a metal-to-metal seal design that ensures the easy removal, without sticking, of the elements, which are interchangeable and available as standard from 25 up to 3000 micron.
