Aquionics appoints Matthias Boeker as Sales Manager, EMEA

Will extend the availability of the Pearl series of disinfection and water quality measurement systems to these regions

UV LED specialist Aquionics has named Matthias Boeker as Sales Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

This is the first time that Aquionics has expanded outside the US.

In his new role, Boeker will extend the availability of Aquionics’ Pearl series of mercury-free disinfection and water quality measurement systems to customers in these regions.

The company has also appointed Dan Shaver as the first US Senior Manager dedicated to the Pearl UV LED product line.

Boeker has more than 15 years of experience in the global water and wastewater industry. He was most recently Director of Project Management with Aqua Vital.

The Pearl products are said to be the first to use UV LED lamps, which emit waves of light in the deep UV spectral (UV-C) range. The range includes disinfection products that destroy micro-organisms on a cellular level, in addition to products for water quality measurement. UV LEDs are also energy efficient, allow for instant full intensity on start-up and mercury-free water treatment.
