Amcor Flexibles has invested in a second cleanroom at its AF Tobepal Logroño site in Spain. The Class 100,000 cleanroom keeps airborne particulate levels below 100,000/ft3 and operates to UNE-EN ISO 14644-1 standards (Fed. Std. 209E).

AF Tobepal produces primary packaging laminates for the pharma industry, including thermoform and cold form blister packaging, strip packs, sachets and stick packs. It has a third cleanroom at Amcor Flexibles’ other AF Tobepal site in Burgos.

The new cleanroom covers the last step in the flexible packaging production process and contains four slitting machines.
