LETCHWORTH GARDEN CITY, UK — 12 March 2026 — The UK office of Air Techniques International (ATI), a global leader in the design and manufacture of specialised test equipment for HEPA filters and protective masks, announced its acquisition of OptiCal Sciences Ltd. The companies have a well-established history in the supply of aerosol photometers and generators in the UK and Ireland.
OptiCal Sciences is a 30-year-old, family-owned business with offices in Northampton, UK and Carlow, Ireland. The company sells and services a range of products focused primarily on contamination control applications, including particle counters, environmental monitoring systems, biosafety cabinets, airflow test equipment, and aerosol photometers and generators.
ATI will retain the OptiCal Sciences offices and organisations in the UK and Ireland, operating under the leadership of ATI Director and General Manager, Rory McLellan.
