Action Sealtite looks to pharma sector for growth
Oxfordshire-based manufacturer Action Sealtite is celebrating 25 years of business and looking forward to extending its services into the pharmaceutical and biotechnical sectors.
The company, based in Didcot, offers safe liquid transfer solutions to customers moving hazardous or costly fluid products, where spillage or vent into atmosphere must be prevented.
Current managing director Harry Robinson joined Action Sealtite in 1990. He said: “the company prides itself on providing a full range of flexible hose couplings and fittings for all major industrial applications.”
Action Sealtite is also keen to expand links with European distributors and has completed a project to supply and fit equipment in a hair product factory in Spain.
Founded by Bill Carter and Mike Herbert, the company was originally called Seal-Tite Products. In 1990, it was acquired by the Flomax group of companies. Action Sealtite is the exclusive UK and European distributor of Dry Disconnect couplings, for use where the prevention of spillage is critical. The company is also a major distributor for a number of quality manufacturers including Snaplock, Snap-tite, Fulcrum, Mikalor, Ever-Tite and Tamsan to name just a few.
