EcoVadis assesses WHP for sustainability

To decide company ratings, the EcoVadis CSR analysis system assesses 21 criteria across four themes of environment, fair labour practices, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement

WHP, a supplier of design and build services for cleanroom, clean manufacturing solutions and complex process systems, has been awarded the EcoVadis gold rating for sustainability.

The Gold rating not only puts WHP within the top 5% of companies measured by EcoVadis, but also places them in the top 7% within the Engineering and Construction sectors.

To decide company ratings, the EcoVadis CSR analysis system assesses 21 criteria across four themes of environment, fair labour practices, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. WHP submitted data relating to CSR practices across its businesses to support these themes.

WHP takes an environmental lead in developing its sustainability, influencing behaviour and promoting sustainable development through the reduction of energy use, developing biodiversity, waste management, sustainable procurement, efficient travel, environmental education and above all engagement with our workforce.

Over the past 12 months WHP have recycled 98% of all waste produced and reduced our energy consumption by nearly 20%.

WHP promotes corporate sustainability not only within our own operations, but also with our partners and supply chain.
