Conor will address the updated Annex 1 in detail, such as understanding the challenges and opportunities of integrating a holistic Quality Risk Management (QRM) approach to CCS with the new standards; and also how robotics and automation, coupled with Alternative & Rapid Microbial Methods (ARMM), support Pharma 4.0, PAT and Real Time Release Testing (RTRT).
A big focus of the show will be in the introduction of the revised EU GMP Annex 1 standards, which will have repercussions on the technologies and the procedures used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The new Annex 1 will come into force on 25 August 2023, meaning that the industry will have to make all the advised necessary changes. The cleanroom garment systems will be one of the main topics discussed at the event.
