AdvanceTEC, a cleanroom design, construction, and mission critical process integration firm, has been awarded a contract for gene therapy manufacturing facility. As a part of this project, it will be working with an EPCM provider to deliver an integrated cleanroom, together with other trade partners. AdvanceTEC is responsible for engineering, designing, and integrating the cleanroom with all other aspects of the project and client’s business plans.

The company was selected for this project based on its demonstrated ability to successfully execute fast-track projects, it says, and its experience delivering cGMP cleanrooms for biotechnology clients. A differentiator for this project is the company’s ‘Cleanroom IP’ platform, which leverages proprietary algorithmic technology and digital field scanning, 3D BIM / VDC modeling, laser field layout, off-site fabrication, and JIT on-site integration for concept to commissioning delivery.

“AdvanceTEC is excited to be a part of this gene therapy manufacturing project, and to play our part in bringing another treatment for rare disease to market,” said Bryan Phelan, AdvanceTEC Managing Partner and Director of Customers. “The combination of our technology driven Cleanroom IP platform, off-site fabrication, and deployment of LEAN techniques across the project, speeds time to market and provides certainty of cost and schedule.”
