IEST offers new contamination control training programme
Participants will earn benchmark training certificates in contamination control
The US Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST) is offering a new training and certificate programme for cleanroom professionals that aims to help participants avoid training failures and progress their careers.
The IEST Contamination Control Learning Path Certificate programme builds progressively from basic knowledge to performance improvement and applies to personnel at all levels, including operators, management, regulators, suppliers, testers, certifiers, cleaners, specifiers, designers, legal staff, and marketing/sales professionals.
The two Fundamentals Certificates provide companies and professionals with a benchmark of foundational training traceable through the IEST education system.
Professionals earning the IEST Cleanroom Fundamentals Certificate complete the following essential courses: Cleanroom Basics — What Is a Cleanroom and How Does It Work?; Cleanroom Classification Testing and Monitoring; and Beyond Cleanroom Basics.
Those earning the IEST ISO 14644 Fundamentals Certificate train to the international standards that are required understanding for all cleanroom-related professions.
The IEST Cleanroom Operations Certificate expands on fundamental knowledge to focus on control of major contamination sources: Stop Contamination in Your Operations with Reusable and Disposable Garments; Contamination Busters: Get the Dirt Out of the Cleanroom; and The Unseen Contaminant: Taking Charge of Electrostatic Contamination.
A specialised IEST USP Certificate is also now available.
The IEST Learning Path programme provides trackable progress through an online learning management system.
Course schedules were developed to help advancement through the Learning Path at the trainee’s own pace and professional needs.
Courses are held at locations throughout the United States.
