For use in atmospheres that are potentially explosive

The HydroWhirl S tank washing nozzle range from BETE has recently been expanded to include ATEX certified versions for use in atmospheres that are potentially explosive.

The HydroWhirl is designed to meet the exacting standards for effective cleaning-in-place (CIP) required in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food, dairy and beverage industries. As well as being certified for use in potentially explosive areas, the ATEX certified nozzles also meet the requirements for gas and dust approvals for all zones (0,1 and 2).

HydroWhirl nozzles are self-cleaning and self-lubricating, which eliminates the possibility of process contamination, while its compact design allows it to be fitted through small, restricted access flanges. They are ideal for medium tanks (up to 5 metres in diameter), used in the pharmaceutical and chemical, food and petrochemical industries, where superior cleaning combined with reduced cycle times, lower water, energy and chemical consumption are increasingly becoming important considerations.
