How to get there
By Car: The Parc des Expositions is easy to get to by car, no matter where you set off from. Once you are on the ring road, take exit 7b or 8 and follow the signs marked 'EXPO' By Train: Access by train is equally straightforward. Eurostar (from London) and Thalys (from Paris, Amsterdam or Cologne) both stop at the Gare du Midi, where you must first take the orange Metro 2 line (direction "Simonis") to "Clemenceau". At "Clemenceau", you take the 1A Metro line (direction "Roi Baudouin") to "Heysel". If you are starting from the Gare Centrale, all you have to do is take the yellow 1A Metro line (direction "Roi Baudouin") "Heysel". By Plane: If you are arriving by plane, Brussels International Airport (Zaventem) is no more than 10 minutes away from Brussels Expo by road. You also have the option of taking a taxi or a train to the city centre. The "Airport City Express" leaves four times an hour (between 6 a.m. and midnight). The journey to the city centre takes only a quarter of an hour. From there, you can take the tram or the metro Public Transport: By tram, numbers 23 and 81 stop at Hall 1 ("Heysel" is the name of the stop), and the number 52 stops at the "Esplanade". Buses also go to Brussels Expo. Numbers 84 and 89 ("Heysel") also serve Hall.
