Exyte appoints new President of its Global Business Unit Advanced Technology facilities

Exyte has announced the appointment of Katrien Verlinden as the new President of its Global Business Unit (GBU) Advanced Technology Facilities (ATF), effective 14 April 2025

Exyte, an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services company for high-tech facilities, has appointed Katrien Verlinden as President of its Global Business Unit (GBU) Advanced Technology Facilities (ATF), effective 14 April 2025.

Headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany, Exyte operates worldwide, delivering solutions for industries such as semiconductors, biopharma, life sciences, and data centres.

Verlinden will be based in Singapore and report to Mark Garvey, who has served as President of ATF since January 2020 and will continue in his role as CEO of ATF and Executive Board Member. 

ATF is Exyte’s largest business segment by sales, primarily active in the semiconductor and battery cell sectors

Prior to joining Exyte, Verlinden served as President and CEO of Saipem America and Country Manager for Saipem in North America. 

Verlinden brings over 25 years of international leadership and extensive operational experience in EPC within the energy sector. 

At Saipem, she held numerous international management positions, progressing through roles such as Technical Manager, Project Manager, and Project Director for large-scale onshore EPC projects across the Middle East and North Africa.

Verlinden holds an engineering degree from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium and has completed executive education at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
