Dräger Medical becomes a limited company

Appoints Dr Christian Hauer as general manager

Dräger Medical, a subsidiary of Drägerwerk, the German safety and medical equipment supplier, has become a limited company. This change forms part of the buyback of Siemens’ 25% share in the medical division.

The Lübeck-based company said the move would simplify the shareholder structure and reduce complexity within the company.

Dr Christian Hauer has been appointed as general manager of Dräger Medical. He will add this role to his existing position as head of global marketing, sales and service in the medical division.
