Xeranova has signed a long-term sales and distribution agreement covering the UK and Ireland for the Pharmaseal Scrubs product line and will work with Plaspro Foreign Sales Co of Stockach, Germany, to market the range across Europe.

Made by US-based Process Solutions, the Pharmaseal products have been specifically designed to provide "robust barrier protection" in cleanrooms from non-comforming elements, such as gas cylinders and pallet jacks, and barrier protection for hard to clean items to prevent particulates contaminating them. The covers are made of Tyvek/Typar, a single wall spun-bound olefin with a polyethylene viewing and operating area, and Tyvek/Typar laminated with a polyethylene secondary barrier wall for disposable applications. Alternatively, a woven anti-microbial polypropylene is available for reusable applications with optional static dissipating strands. Both materials can be sterilised and water or solvent-cleaned. Controlled cost, custom design, validatible packing methods and tamper proofing are also said to be key features.
