Ardmac, the Irish construction company with a global reach, has announced that 17 employees have completed a bespoke leadership course, the Building Better Leaders Programme (BBLP), in partnership with Trinity Business School, Dublin.
The course was designed to develop leaders in business and people management, to grow strategic leadership capabilities for those working in the construction sector.
The team selected from across the Ardmac business took part in the first programme, and completed core leadership modules such as Business Excellence, Strategy, Financial Reporting, People Development and Personal Effectiveness, led by members of Trinity Business School faculty.
"We are very proud to invest in the development of our people through the completion of this intensive leadership programme," said Ronan Quinn, Chief Executive of Ardmac, adding the company was also delighted to partner with Trinity Business School to allow our colleagues access to its best in class leadership curriculum.
Entry to the BBLP programme was through a structured application and selection process. During the programme, candidates had to work as part of a team on a key business project.

The completed projects were presented to the Ardmac Directors and members of the Trinity Business School on the final day. On completion of the course, participants received an Executive Development Certificate from Trinity College Dublin and were inducted into the Trinity Business School alumni network.
"We are confident that they will apply the skills and knowledge from the BBLP course to their roles in Ardmac and make a positive impact on our organisational culture and the business overall. Ardmac is committed to providing extensive training to our employees, including graduate development programmes, management training and executive leadership courses," Quinn said.
Ardmac recently announced the creation of 70 new jobs across its Irish and European operations, due to increased demand for its bespoke construction solutions, significant new project wins and its ambition to continue to significantly grow the business both domestically and across the UK and Europe means that they are actively recruiting at present.
Ardmac is currently working on numerous large-scale Data Centre projects, commercial interiors and refurbishment contracts and significant Cleanroom solutions for the world's largest Bio-Pharma manufacturers.
