Almac Group, the global contract pharmaceutical development and manufacturing organisation, has announced the appointment of a new Site Head for its Charnwood campus, in Loughborough, UK.
James Hurst, who joined Almac Pharma Services in 2008 as Analytical Manager and in most recent years was Head of Pharmaceutical Development Operations at Almac’s global HQ site in Craigavon, has this year taken up the role of Site Head at the company’s new manufacturing and analytical facilities at the Charnwood Campus in Loughborough, UK.
Together with the Pharma Services’ Senior Management team, Hurst will set the strategic direction of the site and will have responsibility for its operational management and performance.
Hurst is a graduate of the Manchester Metropolitan University and has a degree in Chemistry.
