Leading microbiological testing firm, MSL Solution Providers, is delighted to announce that it has been granted the latest ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation by UKAS 4045 for its biocides services.
The accreditation was awarded on 30 th June 2022 following an assessment from UKAS, which ensures that both the company’s in-house laboratory and all mandatory testing it performs comply with the updated ISO/IEC 17025 standard.

ISO/IEC 17025:2017 specifies the general requirements for the competence of testing laboratories. The revised standard now incorporates the mandatory tests themselves, as well as the laboratories in which they are performed; previously (ISO 17025:2005), only the latter was accredited.
In addition, MSL Solution Providers has recently been awarded two further accreditations: the ISO 14001 certification for environmental sustainability, highlighting its ongoing commitment to minimizing the negative impact of its operations on the environment; and ISO 27001, which recognises its proven compliance to the highest level of information security management.
