Despite facing a tight schedule and heavy workload, Greece-based Link Lab has completed the installation of a comprehensive particle and microbial monitoring system in a prominent Greek pharmaceutical facility.
Link signed the contract with the client on the 1st July and worked all Saturdays in order to complete it in time before STERIS came in to do a job.
"The challenge was to finish and complete all qualifications in 40 days because they had booked STERIS 12-14 August," Aristea Kostopoulou from Link Lab told Cleanroom Technology.
Greece-based Link Lab also completed the Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) for the system.

The system comprises 18 particle counters, 18 remote air samplers, and more than 100 environmental sensors, including those for temperature, humidity, and differential pressure.
For environmental monitoring, Link Lab installed additional sensors to corridors and airlocks.
Automation and IT systems
The scientific instrument expert revealed on LinkedIn that the project also involved implementing automation and meeting a rigorous User Requirement Specification (URS) for the IT systems.
"They gave us a very demanding URS at the IT level but we did it and passed all difficulties," Kostopoulou explained.
This remit included virtual server, rights, integrity, computer validation, and databases.
Link Lab and TSI collaboration
"We express our deep gratitude to TSI Incorporated for prioritising us during this demanding period, and to all our suppliers for their prompt material supply," the company stated. "We would like to thank our dream team of engineers, who worked tirelessly and effectively to ensure the project's timely completion. We also express our sincere appreciation to the Greek pharmaceutical industry for entrusting us with this challenging endeavour."
