FMS has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Astech (Ireland).
What does that mean?
Within the new partnership, Astech will provide direct support to FMS customers in Ireland for equipment sales, pre- and post-sales applications expertise and on-site field service. The Astech team will collaborate with FMS's own Ireland team, headed by Commercial Director, Deborah Haisman.
The new partnership provides FMS with a trusted and highly respected partner in Ireland. Astech is very well established as a leading supplier to the cleanroom sector in the country. "It’s a great fit for our business and mirrors the focused expertise we deliver across the UK," FMS stated.
"Astech shares our philosophy. We are known for exemplary customer service and in Astech we recognise the same. Like us, the company supports its customers to maximise uptime and ensure that the industry’s best contamination control solutions are provided to each facility," the company commented.
Ronan Banerjee, the Managing Director of Astech Ireland, views the partnership with FMS with equal enthusiasm as a valuable resource for customers in Ireland. He is pleased with the opportunity to join forces to share contamination control expertise and benefit from an industry-leading range of products.
Astech will now be able to supply superior TSI particle counters and monitoring solutions to the many progressive pharma and high-tech business markets in Ireland. We’re excited by that prospect.
Simon Tebb, EMEA Global Key Account Manager Controlled Environments at TSI is delighted that FMS has chosen this progressive path to collaborate with a business that’s well respected in Ireland. "It’s good to hear that Simon is confident that the new partnership will pay dividends for cleanroom users in Ireland across multiple industry sectors."
"On that note, we will look to strengthen our localised sales and support in Ireland for the unique TSI BioTrak (registered trademark) Real-Time Viable Particle Counter. Ireland has a dynamic pharma manufacturing sector; BioTrak is the market’s leading biofluorescent ARMM, providing advanced functionality to help pharma companies comply with new Annex 1 directives for continuous aseptic monitoring. That’s another great fit, particularly as the FMS5 software from TSI provides a comprehensive Annex 1 compliant monitoring solution."
A final partnership benefit for customers in Ireland is that Astech will also open its in-house technical workshop operations to offer calibration and repair services to existing and future FMS customers in the country.
