FMS provides Environmental Monitoring (EM) systems comprising non-viable and viable particle counters, including the game-changing BioTrak™ Real-Time Viable Particle Counter from TSI Inc. With regulatory approval, BioTrak is a perfect fit for the EU GMP Annex 1 mandate for continuous monitoring and directives to establish a Contamination Control Strategy (CCS).

In addition to the unique BioTrak viable particle counter, other airborne particle counter products include portable and handheld models from the TSI AeroTrak™ range featuring sensitivities down to 0.1µm (AeroTrak 9110) and 10nm (AeroTrak 9001CPC). FMS services include the calibration of particle counters and environmental parameters, including UKAS temperature calibrations (Laboratory No. 9791).
FMS is headquartered in the UK in Malvern, Worcestershire. In Ireland, FMS has forged a key strategic partnership with Astech (Ireland) Ltd. Astech has an established, robust and highly regarded localised sales and customer support infrastructure and is the direct interface for all FMS customers in Ireland, which supports FMS in delivering contamination control solutions across Ireland.
FMS is the sole Channel Partner in the UK and Ireland for the range of contamination control products from TSI Inc., the world’s leading manufacturer of particle counters and environmental monitoring software (FMS 6). FMS is a TSI Gold Channel Partner and the single point of contact in the UK and Ireland for all TSI particle counter and monitoring software products.
FMS is a Channel Partner for ViGIE by InnoWave, the manufacturer of the VMS fully-managed cloud-based Monitoring Systems.
FMS is also the strategic UK partner to Danish innovator UV Medico A/S, a pioneer in safe and efficient Far-UVC light-emitting devices at the forefront of chemical-free microbial decontamination and bioburden reduction in critical clean environments.
In January 2025, FMS was acquired by Trescal, a global leader in calibration services, giving FMS access to extensive resources, manufacturer-independent flexible calibration solutions covering over 20,000 brands and 150,000 referenced instruments, and a global network as part of the Trescal family.
