Stancold has appointed a new Project Coordinator. Grow the Contracts team, Mark Cunliffe will take on the job.
In a statement the company said: "While the end of 2019 draws closer and we look ahead into 2020, we’ve still got plenty of projects in the pipeline that must have all elements efficiently coordinated both in the lead-up to and during our time on site. In these circumstances, expanding the team was the next step, so we’re delighted to have Mark Cunliffe join us as Project Coordinator."
Based predominantly within the cleanroom team, Mark’s role is key to ensuring that project managers are fully supported when undertaking clients’ work. His responsibilities include liaising with suppliers to confirm materials and plant on site, organising project documentation and internal stock.
Previously working in sales administration, Mark is particularly organised and methodical in the way he works, highly advantageous for a Project Coordinator, as he juggles several projects that require a keen eye for detail.
When asked why Stancold stood out as an employer, Mark said that the company’s openness to developing team members’ experience and capabilities as a key advantage to being a part of the team. He hopes to expand his knowledge in CAD design and project management during his time with us and learn more about our work in laboratories and R&D centres.
While fully fit and healthy now, Mark underwent two open-heart surgeries before his second birthday and made a full recovery. He’s now an avid collector of (mainly) Batman graphic novels, with a pile as long as his arm!
