During the General Assembly of Members on Thursday, 8th June, 2023, the members of VCCN elected Paul Joosten as the new chairman.
VCCN is a professional platform for and by professionals working in the field of Contamination Control.
Joosten takes over from Eric Stuiver, for whom it was time to hand over this role after 9 years as chairman.
Remko Noor takes on the role of Vice Chairman and Petra Van Hauwe of Royal HaskoningDHV and Pepijn de Groot of Elis have taken office as new board members. Van Hauwe also takes over the position of secretary from Joosten.

“It is a great honour to hold this position and I would like to thank the members for the trust they have placed in me. As chairman of VCCN, I am faced with the challenge of continuing our work and further strengthening our mission 'We share the knowledge'," said Paul Joosten. “I strongly believe in the power of collaboration and I look forward to working closely with all of you to energise our association. Building our Cleanliness and Contamination Control Circle, growing, working on the relevance of the association and furthering our field in terms of content, that is what I want to work on.”
Paul Joosten is Director of Kuijpers Pharma, Health and Food Services and as such responsible for all Life Sciences and High-tech activities within Kuijpers. He graduated in 2004 on pressure control for cleanrooms and subsequently started working for technical service providers. Joosten now has almost 20 years of experience in designing, building and maintaining controlled environments. Within the field of contamination Control, Paul specializes in HVAC, pressure control, High Containment and Commissioning and Qualification.

To thank Stuiver for everything he has meant to VCCN, he received his honorary membership from Joosten during the ALV with loud applause.
