G-CON, the global off-site prefabricated cleanroom systems expert, has announced that it is expanding its commercial function following the recent launch of G-CON Clean Solutions, where it is now manufacturing and selling modular components to the US market, in addition to its prefabricated solutions offering.
G-CON has appointed James Schmidt as Chief Commercial Officer, effective immediately. James joins G-CON with over 20 years’ senior leadership experience in sales and marketing in the Life Sciences industry. Prior to joining G-CON, James held sales leadership positions at SP Industries, Millipore Sigma, Promega and Steris. His accomplishments include aligning global organization and sales strategy and integrating businesses while consistently exceeding revenue targets.
As part of the strategic realignment, Dennis Powers, who joined G-CON in 2013 and was previously leading G-CON’s commercial team, will take on the complementary new role of Senior Vice President of Product and Strategy with responsibility for leading the company’s portfolio strategy, design consulting, and marketing efforts.
