Hoyles Electronic Developments specialises in the design and manufacture of electronic fire, safety and security equipment.
Originally founded in 1965 by Jack Hoyle, an ex-fireman, Hoyles Electronics is a family owned business now being run by the third generation. Here at Hoyles we pride ourselves on providing a level of services and customer care that is second to none, ensuring that customer requirements are fully met in all aspects. This is reinforced by our IS0 9001 certification that we have held since 1994.
We have established a reputation for designing innovative niche market products, and generally as a provider of solutions for the security, fire and safety industries. Many products are now industry standards and are specified by end-users for inclusion in their systems.
Largely supplying to security installers and fire protection companies throughout the UK, Hoyles now exports 15% of the company's business to the EC and Middle East. All products are designed and manufactured at our UK-based factory.
Hoyles supplies the following products:

"Niche market security manufacturer Hoyles Electronics Developments Ltd, have recently supplied over twenty door interlocking units all for installation in small laboratories and cleanrooms for Eden Bio Design a large Pharmaceutical company based in Speke Liverpool. All the IG432 interlock units are being used to replace existing equipment installed by Unique Integrated Systems over ten years ago. After installation Eden Bio needed to change the specification to allow the air to stabilize for 30 seconds after the doors had been used. Hoyles were able to modify the software quickly to accommodate the changes needed. Mark Ashall Operations Director at Unique says… ‘I can confidently recommend Hoyles Electronics as a KISS ‘Keep It Simple Solution’ product manufacturer and supplier to the trade. We regularly use the Hoyles IG432 interlocks as we are confident in getting great result for us as an installer and for our customer.’”

“As a major supplier to the UK’s Retail and Banking sectors providing both Physical and Electronic Security Solutions, Sec 2 Security Limited had been approached by one of the World’s Largest Cash in Transit Companies asking for help to overcome a serious problem with raids on its staff and customers worldwide. We realised that this was a challenging task and one that required significant and vast experience within the electronic interlocking marketplace. We approached Stephen Hoyles, Director of Hoyles Electronic Developments with our idea and initial prototype. We were extremely impressed at the attentiveness and speed that the Hoyles Team showed in helping develop our prototype into the product that it is today. It would be fair to say that the product exceeds all our expectations due to the dedicated way in which Hoyles work with their customers. Together we overcame almost impossible issues and today we are proud to state that Hoyles Electronic Developments are our sole strategic supplier for specialist interlocking solutions."
