Recent FDA observations have identified cellulose based sterilisation wrapping as a source of product contamination. Draft EU Annex 1 points out that material that may introduce particulate into a cleanroom should be minimised. Data shows that STERIS BPS materials generate a fraction of the particles generated by cellulose based products.
