The sterile clean ready for immediate use Cleanroom Garments will be supplied from Micronclean’s new state of the art cleanroom GMP Grade B cleanroom laundry facility in Bangalore.
Construction of the plant started in 2019 with commercial production and quality accreditations to ISO9001:2015 and ISO 14065 being achieved in 2021 despite the disruption caused by Covid-19. The plant itself is unique in India and features barrier washing machines, cleanroom dryers and steam sterilisers with validated processes, which deliver cleanroom sterile garments ready for immediate use with batch number and validated shelf-life printed directly onto the packaging alongside full garment tracking.
We started investigating the Indian Pharmaceutical market in 2015
Feedback from senior officials from prospective customers and auditors who have visited the facility has yielded many positive comments about the quality of the plant, its production process, the tracking and release systems and its ability to deliver sterile clean ready for immediate use garments direct to the customer.
Speaking about the signing of the contracts Andrew Cole, Managing Director, Micronclean India PVT Ltd said: ”The construction of the first GMP Grade B cleanroom laundry facility in India during a pandemic has been a real challenge to all our construction partners in India and the support services offered by our parent company back in the UK. We can be justly proud of what we have achieved in a short space of time. The signing of the two new contracts to support Covid-19 vaccine production in India plus the feedback from prospective customers confirms that we are now perfectly positioned to support other market leading Pharmaceutical companies in India.”
Simon Fry, Chairman, Micronclean Ltd added: “We started investigating the Indian Pharmaceutical market in 2015 and identified the need for a world class supplier of laundered sterile ready to use cleanroom garments to serve the fast-growing Indian Pharmaceutical industry. The building of our cleanroom laundry and signing of the two most recent commercial contracts means that the vision we had was correct.”
